Amo Residence is a mid-size development project located off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, near the intersection with Ang Mo Kio Ave 2. It is adjacent to a few HDB blocks in the Kebun Baru vicinity and the landed housing estate of Shangri-La Park.

The site was opened for tender on 26th November 2020 and was closed six months later on 25th May 2021.
The site at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 plot attracted an impressive 15 bids, including renowned developers. This gives an indicative potential of the plot by the developers. The top bid of $381.38 million ($1,118 psf / $12,031 psm per plot ratio) was submitted by United Venture Development, a 60:20:20 joint venture (JV) between UOL Group, Singapore Land Group, and Kheng Leong.

Easily accessible by major expressways and arterial roads: Upper Thomson Road and Ang Mo Kio Ave 1. North-South Corridor will be completed in 2027 and travel times to the city and northern region will be shaved by several minutes for public and private transport.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded the tender for the site at AMO Residence Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 to United Venture Development (2021) Pte. Ltd.
The company submitted the highest bid in the tender for the site.
The site at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 was launched for tender on 26 November 2020. The tender for the site closed on 25 May 2021. The land parcel was offered for sale on 99-year lease term.

Ang Mo Kio is quite centrally located in Singapore. It also has a great transportation network; from MRT to private transport options.
These are the major arterial road within a 10minutes drive of AMK, making it convenient to reach most parts of Singapore especially when the North-South Corridor fully opens in 2026.
Upper Thomson Road
The nearest main road will be Upper Thomson Road. This road will lead you to Thomson Plaza, Lornie Highway, Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) Bukit Timah Road if you travel south. To the north, it will lead to Lower Pierce Reservoir, Seletar Expressway (SLE), Sembawang Road, etc… It will only take a minute to reach AMK at the Upper Thomson Road and AMK Ave 1 Junction though it will take slightly longer vice versa as you need to do a U-turn.
Central Expressway (CTE)
To reach CTE, it will take about 10 minutes, depending on your luck with the traffic lights along AMK Ave 1. When the NS Corridor opens, it will free up time to travel from CTE to the Northern and city regions.
Residents of AMK have the option to choose two MRT stations to commute with. They are Mayflower and Bright Hill stations. Both stations are about 600m away ( or 10 minutes walk) though Mayflower is slightly nearer and easier to access. Both sit on the Thomson-East Coast (TEL, Brown Line) which eventually will have 32 stations and connect to eight different interchanges: East-West Line (EWL), North-South Line (NSL), North-East Line (NEL), Circle Line (CCL), Downtown Line (DTL) and the Cross Island Line (CRL) when fully operational in 2025 (project would have TOPed). Currently, TEL is at Stage 2 of 5 stages. Residents around Mayflower MRT station can travel up to Woodlands North and Caldecott to the south.

Lower Peirce Reservoir Park
Visiting Lower Peirce Reservoir Park will mean seeing Lower Peirce Reservoir, Singapore’s second-oldest reservoir. It was built by impounding the upper reaches of the Kallang River and was commissioned in 1912 and offers its own unique beauty. It is not easy to reach the park and the easiest way is to drive or cycle there. It is also because of this, the park is relatively quiet and peaceful. MacRitchie Reservoir
MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore most famous and biggest reservoir. It is extremely popular with runners and nature lovers.
