On 2 Dec 2025, URA announced the GLS Programme for 1H2026. Comprising nine Confirmed List sites and 12 Reserve List sites, the Programme can yield 9,185 private residential units.
The Morrison Lane GLS Land site was announced in the Reserve List. This land parcel will be a residential development with commercial on the 1st storey, located in the prime District 9 River Valley area, near to the Singapore River.
This development will follow another project in the area, The Robertson Opus.

The Morrison Lane GLS Land Parcel is designated for a residential development within an established residential neighbourhood in the River Valley Planning Area.
The Land Parcel is in close proximity to a wide range of shopping, dining and lifestyle offerings along Mohamed Sultan Road and River Valley Road, as well as in Orchard Road and Singapore River.
With the Fort Canning Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown Line and Great World MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line located in the vicinity, the Land Parcel is well connected to the City Centre and other parts of Singapore via a comprehensive and efficient transport network.
The Land Parcel also offers residents easy access to recreational opportunities along the Singapore River Round-Island Route.
The Land Parcel shall be developed for a residential development that overlooks a new park, complemented by commercial amenities and essential services to serve existing and future residents.
Fronting Mohamed Sultan Road, the proposed development on the Land Parcel is to respond sensitively in form and scale to the low-rise, conserved shophouses along the street block. It shall be lushly landscaped to enhance and extend the overall sense of greenery, particularly along the common boundary abutting the new park.
The Successful Tenderer is to augment connectivity in the area by providing at-grade covered walkways along the southern periphery of the proposed development to facilitate seamless and convenient pedestrian flow between the developments along Mohamed Sultan Road.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released two residential1 sites at Holland Plain and Morrison Lane for sale today under the first half 2026 (1H2026) Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.
The site at Holland Plain can potentially yield about 280 residential units. These form part of the 4,575 residential units to be released via the Confirmed List of the 1H2026 GLS Programme, which is 50% above the average Confirmed List supply per GLS programme over the past decade. The site at Morrison Lane is available for application under the Reserve List and can potentially yield 205 residential units.
Other Details
The tender for the Holland Plain site will close at 12 noon on 7 May 2026.

The Government has announced the GLS Programme for 1H2026. Comprising nine Confirmed List sites and 12 Reserve List sites, the Programme can yield 9,185 private residential units, 209,150 sqm gross floor area (GFA) of commercial space and 970 hotel rooms (see Appendix 1 and Appendix 2).
The Confirmed List, which comprises eight private residential sites and one Commercial & Residential site, can yield 4,575 private residential units (including 635 EC units) and 22,500 sqm GFA of commercial space.
The Reserve List includes six private residential sites, one commercial site, three White sites and two hotel sites, which can potentially yield an additional 4,610 private residential units, 186,650 sqm GFA of commercial space, and 970 hotel rooms.
