Projected Completion : 2025/2026

The Thomson East Coast Line is projected to fully complete by 2025/2026, and by then it will provide access from Woodlands Regional Centre, to Lentor, Outram, Marina South, Tanjong Katong and all the way till Sungei Bedok.

Once the TEL line is fully completed, more than 240,000 households will be within a 10-minute walk from a TEL station.

The Thomson East Coast Line intersects with many other MRT lines : with the North South Line at Woodlands, Cross Island Line at BrightHill, Circle Line at Caldecott, Downtown Line at Stevens. 

North South Corridor

The North-South Corridor (NSC) will be Singapore’s longest Transit Priority Corridor at 21.5km, featuring dedicated bus lanes, cycling trunk routes and pedestrian paths, to serve public bus commuters, active mobility users and pedestrians. Expected to complete in 2027, it will directly connect the Northern region and the city centre. All civil contracts for the construction of the tunnels and viaducts have been awarded and construction is currently underway.
